The People Who Awaken the Dawn

My hometown of Busan has the largest and oldest fish market in South Korea. Visitors can experience the strong smell of fish and catch a glimpse of the challenging lives of the market vendors. However, with the increasing popularity of e-commerce and modern distribution systems, this traditional fish market in Busan is gradually disappearing. Through photography, I aimed to capture the vendors at dawn, reflecting on the market's former vibrancy and bustling atmosphere amidst the now-fading fish displays.
