Mother Nature in Okinawa

With its pristine forests, countless natural limestone caves, emerald beaches, and wave-carved coastal caves, Okinawa is celebrated as the "Hawaii of the East." Yet, ironically, this beautiful island also bears the sorrowful history of countless lives lost during the Pacific War 80 years ago. Capturing the breathtaking landscapes of Mother Nature in Okinawa, I hope that the tragic history of war and destruction will never be repeated.
